"There used to be a company that ran a chain of barns on the line of the canal and furnished boatmen for towing boats. At Weedsport, the line barn was taken care of by Ezekiel Radford, who made and sold horse liniment.
"There was a song about Zeke and his liniment that I would like to see in print if any of your readers know it. It started like this:
"Ezekiel he came out And began to bawl and shout,
Saying: 'Captain, are your horses galded any? I've a liniment here to sell That will cure them right up well}
I don't think that I have ever sold you any.'
